Caryn Davis has 20 years of experience in editing and communications on a wide variety of subjects. She has been a science editor in Forestry since 1991. Before that, she was Managing Editor for the journal, Environmental Review (now Environmental History), and editorial assistant for The Western Historical Quarterly. She also enjoys working on multidisciplinary projects in areas such as natural resource management, history, and public policy, as a private consultant. Her approach to communication can be summarized in the words of Albert Einstein: "Most of the fundamental ideas of science are essentially simple, and may, as a rule, be expressed in a language comprehensible to everyone." |
